The 12th annual Nites in the City will be held on September 29th & 30th at the Downtown Courthouse Plaza, West Main Street, Meriden. Both the Silver City Brewfest and the Main & Vine: Harvest Wine Tasting events were brought to existence to help make a difference in the community through local non-profits as well as bring together a community in two fun and social events!
Celebrating its 12th year the Silver City Brewfest is a unique fundraising opportunity for one beneficiary annually. The Meriden Silver City Brewfest Committee has chosen Saint Joseph School as the non-profit recipient for the Brewfest to be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Live music by The Gonkus Brothers and a sampling of food from local Meriden vendors -The Taste of Meriden - will be available. Free hamburgers and hot dogs and Meriden's First Silver City Pizza Pie Contest!
Celebrating its 9th year, the Main & Vine: Harvest Wine Tasting is a great event that brings the Greater Meriden Community together for an evening that celebrates non-profit organizations within the city. The Harvest Wine Tasting event is scheduled for Thursday September 29, 2011 from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Live music and a fabulous buffet sponsored by Shop Rite is included!
